Texas Hot Crackers
Hey Y'all,
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful President's Day/ Monday. Since it is Presidents Day and it makes me think of Fireworks, for whatever reason. We made these Texas Hot Crackers and they are so addicting.
For the ingredients are 3 sleeves Saltine Crackers, 1 tsp. Garlic Powder, 3 tbsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip and 1 cup Canola Oil.
First take 2 Ziploc bags and put on bag inside of the other bag. This way it is doubled bag in case anything happens. Put the crackers in the Ziploc bag. In a bowl mix together the rest of the ingredients together and pour over the crackers. Zip the bags up and toss gently. About every 30 minutes go back and flip the bag. Do this over 3 hours and then let them sit overnight. Enjoy the next day with cheese or just eat them by themselves!!!
These crackers are do addicting you can't just have one....literally. They are spicy but have a that nice hint of ranch that ends up cooling off the mouth. We eat these with cheese and meat and cream cheese spread but the best way is just eat the crackers. The best thing is that most of the time you have the ingredients on hand so you don't have to go to the store. If you have an unexpected party coming up make these and they will be an absolute hit. I hope that you enjoy these as much as my family and friends have. Next time I am going to bring you our Broccoli Salad. It is so delicious and semi-healthy. Have a wonderful day and see ya next time.
