Thanksgiving Turkey

Hey Y'all,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day back from the holiday weekend.  Even though it is after Thanksgiving I am still going to put up what we made and this way you can make any of these dishes during the Christmas time.  The first item I am going to show you from my family's Thanksgiving is our wonderful Turkey that I made.  This turkey is so easy and the best part is that it is moist and not dry.
The ingredients are 1 12-14 lb. Turkey, 2 bottles Cajun Butter & Herb Turkey injector, Olive Oil and Slap ya Mama White Pepper Seasoning.
Take the Turkey out of the freezer and place in the fridge 3 days before you are baking it, this way it can defrost.  Once the Turkey is defrosted place it on a roasting rack.  Inject the turkey with the Cajun butter and herb juice.  Make sure when you are injecting the turkey that you get it every piece of meat.  Once you have injected the Turkey rub it with Olive Oil all over it.  Once you have rub down the Turkey with olive shake the seasoning all over until coated.  You can rub it in just make sure that is well seasoned.  Cover with foil and bake at 350 for about 3.5 to 4 hours.

The turkey is so moist, a little bit spicy and delicious!!!!!!!  You are basically making the turkey ready for as if you were going to fry it but instead you bake it like a regular turkey.  With the Cajun injection that is what is keeping the turkey moist and not from drying out.  You get the wonderful garlic and herb flavor from the turkey then you get hit with the spicy from the skin of the turkey.  You also can get the skin a little bit crispy from removing the foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking time and it can crisp up the skin.  This is definitely a turkey that anyone can make and your family will love.  Also, it makes wonderful sandwiches and soups for the next couple of days.  Next time I will bring you our Green Bean Casserole and Dressing recipe.  See ya next time.
