Cinnamon Sugar Biscuits
Hey Y'all,
Hope everyone is enjoying this time of the year. It has been such a wind whirl tour between the two jobs this holiday season. With Allie trying to class up and then start on finals, we have just been super busy. I hope that everyone is winding down with the Christmas shopping and can finally enjoy the season. We have been very busy cooking in the kitchen. I had a catering job 2 weeks ago and it went very well. I have been thinking about start up a catering/party planning business. Looking into all the details and we will let you know what we decide to do after the new year. Alright on to the Cinnamon Sugar Biscuits these are an amazing dish for the morning but also good enough to eat as a dessert.
The ingredients you will need are 1 can Grands Pillsbury Biscuits, 1 cup Sugar, 3 tbsp. Cinnamon, 1 stick Butter, and 1/8 cup Brown Sugar.
Pre heat the oven at 375. Take the biscuits out of the can and cut them in half which they will look like half of a circle. In a paper bag mix together the sugar and cinnamon. You can always add more cinnamon if you like. Then take the half biscuits and toss in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated all over. Place the biscuits in an 8 inch round baking pan. It will fill up the whole pan and will look like a wreath. In a sauce pan melt the butter. When butter is melted add the brown sugar to it and mix together. Then take the butter mixture and drizzle it over the the cinnamon sugar biscuits. Place in the oven and bake for about 10 - 12 minutes. Once done flip onto a plate. Serve & Enjoy.
This is the most amazing thing that I have ever eaten. You get the spice from the biscuit and the carmel flavor from the brown sugar butter. It has such a great flavor that everyone can enjoy. If you have guest coming over for the holidays make this dish and they will never look at biscuits the same. If you want to make this a dessert just add a dolp of whip cream and you can drizzle a little bit of chocolate on top and it will be amazing, I promise. I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine did. Next time I will be bringing you my Chocolate Bark and Oreo Balls recipe. They are a great addition to any holiday party and are easy to make. Have a wonderful day and see you next time.
