What I love about this sandwich is that it gives you that BBQ taste with out all the smoke flavor that can easily over power the entire dish. The beef is fork tender and has a little bit of heat from the seasoning and is succulent. The onions bring a sweetness to cut through the spicy flavor of the jalapenos. If you want more heat leave some of the seeds and veins in the peppers and you will have a much more spicy version. The cheese compliments the dish my making it gooey and messy. The Honey BBQ Sauce brings the right amount of tang and sweetness to the dish and just all around pulls it together. I used a bollio which is a Latin bread that is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. They stand up well to heat as well as holding up with lots of ingredients on the sandwich. It doesn't become soggy it stays crunchy and then soft and gooey on the inside. This meal serves 4 but can easily serve 6 depending on how much meat you want on your sandwich. Enjoy!!!
